Queen Bess’ Legacy Continues
with BCF Scholarship

he Bessie Coleman Foundation is elated that Queen Bess’ legacy continues through the 2007 BCF Scholarship.  Antoinette Miller, an Embry-Riddle Prescott Campus student and Evan Webb-Stuart, a Morehouse University freshman both received $2000 from the Bessie Coleman Foundation. The BCF Scholarship committee consisting of Arlander Barker, Nancy Lawrence PhD, and James Sulton did an outstanding job of reviewing all the applications and deciding on the two winners. This process was a bit cumbersome because each of them live in different states. However, using technology and Sulton’s  Rubic’s Scoring Tool, Evan and Antoinette were deemed the winners.
